The following are the tools and raw materials required for the traditional jewellery making:

• Hammer: It is used to break apart shisha material (locally called, aluminium alloy) for easy melting.

• Pliers: It is a hand tool generally used for bending and compressing the wide range of materials.

• Fabric Glue: It is used to stick the coloured stones in the gaps provided.

• Woollen Yarn: It is generally preferred to make the necklace and the coloured waistbands (Kamarbandha locally called).

• Needle: It is used to pull the beads and ornamental items through the woolen yarn.

• Spoons: It is used to pour the molten material into imitation jewellery casting machine.

• Scissor: It is used to cut the extra length of the woolen yarn.

• Hand Gloves: Woolen gloves are generally preferred for separating the casted materials.

• File Tool: It is used to give the fine shape to the imitation jewellery material.

• Aluminum Alloy (shisha): It is used as the base material for the traditional jewellery making.

• Kundans: It is the traditional form of jewellery with gem stones.

• Beads: Small, medium size beads of silver finish and plastic beads are preferred in the jewellery making.

• Pendants: It is used to hang down for the better look of the jewellery.

• Forceps: It is used for clutching and holding the small objects.

• Bowl (Vessel): It is used to melt the material to molten stage.

• Stove with LPG: It is the fuel used in melting the material to molten stage.

• Imitation Jewellery Casting Machine: It is used to cast the required quantity of imitated jewelries.
