The Traditional Jewellery of any region or culture helps in recognizing the tribe or the people that they belong to. It is the essential part of an individual that enhances the appearance with a unique identification to which region they belong to.

Gujarat has a variety of cultures with various functions and different traditions of dancing played here. People here belongs to the varied castes with different religions and communities with some languages like Marwari, Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Sindhi, Kachchi etc. It is one of the old states of India that represents the authentic and graceful culture and tradition of India. With reference to the history with the very old Harappa civilization that existed long years ago.

Jewellery can be made from a wide range of materials with imitation metals, coloured beads, coloured stones etc. and worn by both men and woman. Mostly it is seen that the adult women are more constant wearers of the traditional jewellery. Jewellery has been adorned with more body parts from the hairpins to the toe rings. The traditional Jewellery of Gujarat is specially made by the group of women who gather at different locations allotted with different duties in the making of the jewellery.
