Fig. 63 DHOLM rocking chair

Fig. 64 Tathagata Pathak 4yrs

Fig. 65 Riyan Ghosh 5yrs

The product was received well by two users Yashranjani Das (8 years old) and Bhoomika Kalita (4 years old). The feedback was positive and feedback was also given to them. The rocking design of the chair was enjoyed by them. The feel and design of the product were commended by the users. They wished to keep the product and when enquired if they would like their parents for the product, they answered without hesitation with a positive response. Firstly, the feedback received was that the footrest is quite thin and a flatter surface for the footrest would be a better solution. Secondly, Bhoomika who is 5 years old, had some difficulty climbing onto the chair while Yashranjani who is 8 years old expressed no issues sitting on the chair suggesting future explorations for a specific range of age groups. Even though Yashranjani is tall and was not able to comfortably rest her feet on the front end of the footrest, she could easily rest her feet on the mid-section of the footrest suggesting having a footrest that is flexible for children of varying heights is a good approach.
