Flowers are a symbol of love, good luck, happiness and prosperity. Flowers play a significant role in Hinduism. Hindus offer flowers to the Gods and deities as a sign of respect. The hope behind this is that they will be blessed with luck and prosperity. In every event flower decoration is important. Hindu weddings and social events are incomplete without flower decoration. Flowers are considered a catalyst in all our festivals. Flowers can vary from different colours to different fragrances to patterns. Flowers are the most exceptional creation in the entire world and especially in India. Flowers are used in worship as they are considered divine. Since ages, poets and authors have improved the importance of flowers which are still used by the present generation. Every novel has a special episode around the importance of flowers. Lotus is known as the national flower of India as it has its roots in ancient India. Flower decoration becomes an integral part of our celebration of birthdays and anniversaries. Flowers teach us the charm of silence and thus the self-giving, which demands nothing in return. Puja is an integral part of a Hindu household, either on a daily basis or during some important religious function.

The art of making artificial flowers is so specialized. Decorating with flowers in the house is very common nowadays. It is one of the most popular and obtainable in a very wide range of colours, shapes and quantities. Though it is not so expensive, the best quality is used for making flower craft. Some excellent flowers can be made using crape paper.
