Scooters are known for their practicality and Multiple usages. It is famous for its ease of use and reliability among young to old users. This project was to find ways in which the scooter can be used and to come up with a practical and accessible design for all age groups. Different uses of scooters were studied in the beginning to find out what context can the new design direction fits in. Two-wheeler taxi was one of the new emerging trends in India. It is just a regular motorcycle that carries passengers but it has its challenges and problems. Two-wheeler taxis are considerably cheaper than four-wheeler taxis. India has around 75% more two-wheelers than cars and the study shows that taxi growth is going to double in numbers by 2022. This research gives a great opportunity to design a two-wheeler taxi for affordable and quick travel.

A user study of users and riders of two-wheelers was conducted to find what do they think about two-wheeler taxis as a concept, with a positive response from the users further structured user study was done to find out about what the users want in a two-wheeler taxi, how to increase the comfort for the passengers, ways to provide better storage, how to make it accessible to all age groups and how to protect the passengers and drivers from bad weather conditions. All the responses were incorporated in the design and different concepts were made. Evaluation of the concepts was done to converge into a final design solution.

Two-wheeler taxi can help in looking at a faster, more comfortable and economical way of commuting differently altogether and can give employment opportunities to a lot of people.
