'Smaran' - A Communication System for the Elderly

“Smaran”- is a communication system for the elderly. It is made of a system of interactive devices each with a different functionality - to help in remembering both inside home and outside, to help pass on messages to family members and to leave messges at the community board.

Smaran makes use of proximity devices and simple recording devices to make the life of the elderly a bit easier.

'Smaran' Salient Features: 
• Dollop 1 - for proximity detection outside the house
• Dollop 2 - for finding objects within the house 
• Dollop 3 - for intra family communication
• Dollop 4 - for the community board
