The following are the tools and raw materials required for the making of Cotton beads Jewellery:

• Cloth Materials: Materials of Cotton and Polyester are generally preferred for the bead making.

• Filling Material (Polycotton): It is used to fluff the material for bulkiness.

• Thread Cutter: It is used to trim the extra material, threads from the cotton beads.

• Scissors: It is used to cut the cloth material into round/ oval shapes.

• Needle: It is used to supplement stitch on the cloth material.

• Threads: It is used to sew the cloth material together.

• Measuring Tape: It is used to measure the linear measurement with markings.

• Plastic/ Glass Beads: It is inserted between the cotton beads for look and strength purposes.

• Round Template: It is used as a reference for the cloth material to cut as per the required sizes.

• Plastic Tubes: It is used as per the patterns to enrich the look of the jewellery in some cases.

• Twines: Medium sized twine’s are preferred for joining the filled beads together.
