In the Handmade Type - Part 1 the process has been shown. However, the technique will vary from the medium or depend upon the type of objects used. Each of them requires a different understanding of how they have to be handled.

• What the medium can do or not do?
• What does it express?
• What feeling does it impart? Is it apt or contradictory?
