Rangoli is a traditional form of art piece done on the floors of Indian houses using colored powder. Nowadays this can also be made in an easier way using these modern day sieves. These sieves can be obtained in different shapes and with different patterns. Two patterns can also be used together to get a new combination of pattern.

To draw a rangoli using one of these sieves, one has to first make a base of background color using a plane sieve. Once a base is ready one can now use a different patterned sieve with a different color to form a rangoli pattern.
