Interstate Stone Sculpting Camp was held at The Dravidian University, organized by Karnataka  Shilpakala Academy. The camp was for fifteen days, and the Shilpakala academy sends its own recognized twenty sculptors to sculpt the statue with ten senior Sculptors and ten junior sculptors. Different types of cement sculpting, stone carving, fiber casting, and metal casting are being organized in different states of India by Shilpakala academy. There was a reborn of Shilpakala academy for the modern age to get the past back to the present age. We were able to find all the stone carving and sculptures were sculpted by ancient people in the temples and historical places. Shilpakala started to choose and pick the most skillful and trained sculptor or artists to show out their best work on the present status to change the trend. 

Gautama Buddha, a sage on whose teachings Buddhism was founded. Gautama is the primary figure in Buddhism. Buddhists recognized him as an enlightened teacher who shared his insights to help sentient beings end rebirth and suffering. In the middle of the sixth and fourth centuries, BC Buddha was lived and taught mainly in the eastern part of ancient India, such as Magadha and Kosala. Gautama Buddha's statue with the Pupil tree's background and roots was sculpted by a senior Sculptor, Mrs. Swetha Pushparaj, Bangalore, with Junior Sculptor Mr. Ramamurthy, the Ramanagar district. They carve taking around 15 days to complete the work.
