Kirpan is a small dagger, which is kept by baptized Sikhs. Katar is dagger kept by Rajput's. In ancient times both the communities were warriors due to circumstances and their duty. As these were used for protection and was associated with honor and dignity, it was possess by all men in the community.These are antique replicated in brass, copper, wood, marble and lakh as they are very popular amongst tourists and natives.
