The decorative Idols are generally made by the women of Aligarh who make these idols with the locally available materials in their village by training and making with a group of women. In Ganesh decorative Idol making, a Formica sheet of wood is taken on which the adhesives are applied to which Shaneel fabric is spread evenly on the surface to stick firmly. Trunk and hand cutouts made of fabric are stitched at the corners to firmly hold together on the three sides of the fabric to which the fiber fills are stuffed to the full. The trunk part of the cloth is stitched where the center hole is made from which the fiber fills are filled. Dehusked coconut shells are rolled with cloth and folded neatly which is then placed on the Thermocol with a hole. The precious stones are stuck to the trunk and the other parts to highlight the details of the idol.
