The traditional coconut shell craftsmen in southern part of India and Andaman & Nikobar Islands use various manual tools and in house techniques to make these jewelry products. The coconut shell is first cut into desired shapes and polished. Various additional external elements can be added such as pearls etc. Later on the shapes are finished using sand paper and water to get the perfect surface finish.
